＜要旨＞
総合大学であり最先端の研究が行われている東北大学は，研究テーマごとの知財戦略を策定し，実行したいと考える．大学は不実施機関であっても企業による事業を想定した権利取得が必要で，そのためには技術的，専門的知識と経験とを有する弁理士の支援が不可欠である．弁理士による特許出願は一部大学を除きほぼ100%で，出願や権利化での実績はあるが，大学発明の活用，ライセンス交渉，学内教育等での活躍にも期待する．
<Abstract>
In the Tohoku University, many advanced researches are being done. We want to plan and perform the intellectual property strategy for every subject of researches. Even if a university must not manufacture and sell products, it needs the patents suitable for the enterprise. Many universities order almost all patent applications to the patent attorneys. Patent attorneys are playing active parts in the universities in patent applications and acquisition of patents. Further, we count on them supporting by practical use of invention, license negotiation, intramural education, etc.
