＜要旨＞
本稿では，日本における大学特許に関する制度の変遷について簡単に振り返ったうえで，このような制度の変遷に関して大学特許関連のデータを用いて分析を行った研究を紹介し，これまでに筆者の研究プロジェクで実施した日本の大学特許に関する以下のような分析の結果を述べる．
（1）民間企業との共同研究を多く行っている大学に関して，産学共同出願と大学単独出願の割合はどのように変遷しているか．また，特許価値の評価に関して産学共同出願特許と大学単独出願特許との間にどのような違いが見られるか．
（2）大学から発明者に対する特許収入の還元割合と，大学発スタートアップの設立にはどのような関係があるか．
（3）研究開始から特許出願までのタイムラグは，どの程度か．
（4）学術研究とイノベーションの距離が近いとされている医薬品・医療関連製品の研究活動に関連の深い遺伝子関連特許について，日本の大学からの特許出願数はどのように変遷しているか．
<Abstract>
This paper briefly reviews the evolution of university patent systems in Japan. It then introduces research　that analyzed this evolution using university patent-related data and presents the results of the following analyses on Japanese university patents conducted within the author's research project.
（1） For universities conducting a large number of joint research projects with private companies, how has the ratio of　industry-academia joint applications versus university-only applications changed? Also, what differences are observed in　patent value assessments between industry-academia joint application patents and university-only application patents?
（2） What relationship exists between the percentage of patent income returned by universities to inventors and the　establishment of university spin-offs?
（3） What is the typical time lag between the start of research and the filing of a patent application?
（4） How has the number of patent applications filed by Japanese universities changed for gene-related patents, which　are closely associated with research activities in pharmaceuticals and medical products?
