市民科学・シチズンサイエンスの実践エリアとその傾向: 都市と農山村部でのレビューより

＜要旨＞
本稿では，都市部，農村部における市民科学の展開についてレビューをした．都市部については，環境保全や災害対策等の個別の領域についてのプロジェクトが多く実施されている．さらに，スマートシティ等の都市の総合的な方向性に関する議論にも関わってきている．農村部については，ルーラル・ツーリズムの改善を目的にしたものもあるが，農業生産に関わる環境に関するプロジェクトが多く行われてきた．
都市部，農村部にかかわらず，プロジェクトにおける市民の主な役割は，情報収集の担い手であるが，科学者との協働が意識されてきている．そのために，これを可能にするために，市民，科学者が相互にメリットを享受できるプロジェクトの立案，協業型のプロジェクトを容易にするプラットフォームの設計，実装，展開が大きな課題となる．農村部において，農業生産，経営についてのメリットが特に重要となると議論されている．
<Abstract>
This paper reviews the development of citizen science in urban and rural areas.　For urban areas, many projects have been conducted on individual areas such as environmental protection and disaster management.　In addition, they have been involved in discussions regarding the overall direction of cities, such as smart cities.　For rural areas, many projects have been undertaken on the environment related to agricultural production, although some have been aimed at improving rural tourism.
Regardless of whether in urban or rural areas, the main role of citizens in projects is as information gatherers, but they are increasingly aware of the need to collaborate with scientists.　To make this possible, a major challenge is to design, implement, and deploy platforms that facilitate project formulation and collaborative projects in which citizens and scientists can mutually benefit from each other.　In rural areas, it is argued that benefits with respect to agricultural production and management will be particularly important.
