＜要旨＞　
ドイツは，ドイツ技術者協会 (VDI) のガイドラインを原案として，国際標準化機構にバイオミメティクスの国際標準化を2011 年に提案した．そして，新しい専門部会が発足し，3つの作業部会 (WG) で継続して審議を行なってきた．バイオミメティクスの国際規格は，ISO 18458 : Biomimetics-Terminology, concepts and methodology，ISO 18459 : Biomimetics-Biomimetic structural optimization，および，ISO 18457 Biomimetics-Biomimetic materials, structures and components であり，この国際規格の概要について報告する．また，バイオミメティクスの産業展開の動向についても報告する．
<Abstract>
Germany proposed new standards for biomimetics to International Organization for Standardization based on the technology guidelines of the Association of German Engineers. New technical committee was established and three working groups of the committee had carried out standardization of biomimetics. International standards of biomimetics are ISO 18458 (Terminology, concepts and methodology), ISO 18459 (Biomimetic structural optimization), and ISO 18457 (Biomimetic materials, structures and components). Outline of these international standards are explained. In addition, the industrial trends of biomimetics are described.
