＜要旨＞
地方創生は，政府における主要な政策課題となっている．その実現に向け，知的財産は，中小企業の成長を促すための主要な貢献を果たすことができる．かかる認識の下で，地域・中小企業の知財活動や支援活動の現状の分析結果に基づき，知財を地域に浸透するための「知財のすそ野拡大活動」や「地域の支援人材育成」の活動を，中期的視点から強化する必要がある旨指摘している．
<Abstract>
The Vitalizing Local Economy is the main policy issue under the Government of JAPAN.　IP plays an important role in achieving the goal. I made an analysis of the current condition of SMEs’ IP activity and government supports. Based on this analysis, the paper presents the need for the activity of raising IP awareness and the development of human resources, in local region.
