■ 概要：
タンパク質構造情報に基づく医薬品開発（SBDD)の草分けである、Structural GenomiX社ビジネスディベロップメントを担当されているエリック氏に、SBDDの取り組みについてお話いただきます。テーマは、SDBBの技術面から企業・知財戦略まで広範に渡って紹介します。
■ 講師紹介：
Eric de La Fortelle, Ph.D., MBA.
Senior Director, Business Development
Eric de La Fortelle is the Senior Director of Business Development. He has
extensive experience in computational crystallography as well as business
expertise. Before receiving his M.B.A. from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France in
1999, he helped to establish Global Phasing Ltd., a biological software
company. From 1994-1998, he was a researcher in the Cambridge Unit of the UK
Medical Research Council where he established an international reputation in
the field of computational crystallography. There, he wrote the SHARP
software, a program used by over 400 laboratories worldwide. In 1994, de La
Fortelle received a Ph.D, MBA. in Biophysics from the Universite Paris-Sud
XI, France and a B.Sc. in 1990 from the Ecole Centrale de Paris. |
